No good. Gave a few of these to our puppy and she vomited profusely 12-13 times, requiring us to take her to the emergency vet clinic for a cost of $500. Won't buy any products from this company again.

These are so dry!
The ones I got from petco were dark brown and my puppy loved them. These are supposed to be exactly the same but showed up dry, can’t cut them in half for my puppy and he wasn’t able to chew it.
Bad quality and I’m not able to return, don’t buy these!

I bought these for my 8 week old golden retriever pup and I'm super disappointed. He loves the flavor but these are far from tender. While they aren't as hard as dry dog food, they are very hard in comparison to other treats I've purchased that are also touted as being tender. I now use these for my older labrador retriever as he is able to handle the texture. I've bought this brand for other things before and I'm really disappointed.

Bottom line: If you are looking for quick, tender, training treats and you have a young pup with baby teeth, I'd skip these unless you can actually purchase at a store to verify their tenderness. I won't purchase these again for my young pup as I don't think they are appropriate for their first set of teeth. I'm giving them 2 stars because he does like the flavor and because my older dog is able to use them.

These are my pup’s go-to treats, the ones she loves the most. Normally they are moist, cylindrical treats, dark in color. However, what I got was a bagful of dried up crumbling stale little blobs. All the moisture is gone from these. And they STINK. The pic shows the usual form on the left and the new, stale ones on the right. Big difference. I asked for a return but Amazon refunded my money and replaced the bag for me….Except the new bag is exactly the same, stale and dried up. I don’t know if the formula for these has changed or they’ve just been stored improperly. If you’ve ever seen separately wrapped pieces of chocolate that have melted and then come back into solid form then you’ll know what I’m talking about. Once exposed to that much heat they just are never the same. I think that’s what happened here. My dog doesn’t seem to care but I’m not sure if they’re safe to feed her. Now, of course, Amazon won’t refund my money since they replaced the first bag. I think these should be thrown out en mass as a bad batch.

My pup has really liked the jerky treats from Zuke's so I thought I'd have him try the puppy treats for training. I gave him a few to see if he liked them, and he did. So the next day I used a big handful of them to use with training tricks. For some reason, these did not sit well with him. A few hours later, he had really bad diarrhea. I thought it could also be because he had eaten something outside that day, so waited a few days and tried again with a smaller amount. Still he had diarrhea, though not as bad.
I'm not sure what ingredient is giving him this reaction. I know that a sudden change of diet can cause this, but he is usually strong to new foods. He never has had this problem even though I get him different treats almost every purchase..

SUCCESS vs Upset tummy

We recently brought home a 9 week Australian Labradoodle. We purchased these treats as a means of training. Please keep in mind that we are only working on the most basic training commands as she is so young.

As of today (9-6-17) she is responding VERY well to commands when these treats are used!! Interesting to note that our experience with the Lamb & Chickpea flavor was NOT GOOD at all. In fact, we ended up at the vet shortly after using those. They gave her a very upset stomach.

My overall opinion is that, just like with babies, sweet potatoes are very gentle on young tummies which would explain why our girl has responded better to this flavor.

Clearly, this is a big batch of old, stale, and possibly harmful “treats” that the company should have thrown out but didn’t. My pup LOVES these snack until I ordered them from Amazon. They smell musty, I can’t even break them in half (the real Zuke’s have a soft and chewy texture that is easy to pull apart), my pup, who goes nuts for these, literally sniffed it, put it in his mouth, GNAWED on it for about 5 mins, and puked it out. This is harmful to sell spoiled and stale food to our fur babies, and is just a lawsuit waiting to happen. I WILL be getting a refund and reporting this to ensure that a quality control check is completed, given that MANY other reviews say the exact same thing. If a food company sells products that make humans sick and are harmful, there are consequences. As there are and will be for companies who sell harmful products to our fur babies. Shame on YOU. This won’t be the last you hear from loving dog owners. We shall be in touch.

My puppy hates these. Spits them right back out. The size is kind of large for the shape. I tried breaking them into smaller pieces and she ate a little bit then started spitting them out again. Maybe bigger breed dogs would like them but they aren’t ideal for a small puppy.

My puppy looooooves Zuke’s. Yes I know these puppy training treats are expensive but seriously my puppy would give anything for these treats .... he goes nuts for them... especially the peanut butter and oats. They are super small but must be really tasty ... I am so tempted to try one myself. I kid you not that we toilet trained out cocker spaniel within 4 days of him coming home. So that’s a 9 week old puppy toilet trained. We are working on RECALL and sit etc. And they ll seem to be doing well. I know they are expensive but I’m going to keep on buying these.
