But my bad review is due to the company. I've inquired about a warranty several times. Their customer support and policies are designed to be obtuse and unhelpful and to filter out loyal customers who just to get a replacement or refund. I've gone several rounds with them and they are useless jerks. Save yourself the trouble and buy something else.
The first thing you see is the box. It is not cheaply made. Solid plastic with a rubber coating. This box doubles as the ear buds case when not in use. A simple yet effective security device keeps you out, but it is worth the fight to get in its shell.
Inside the box you get an actual owners manual. Not some thrown together poorly translated sheet of paper. A book. Inside with many
languages it explains use, care and even explains what
all that audiophile speak means. Included is a multitude of silicone bud pieces. If you can not find your size you might need to see a cosmetic surgeon.
Now plug them in to your iDevice. It becomes instantly and undeniably obvious that Apple’s supplied ear buds are the equivalent of a 86 Ford Fiesta. If you disagree then you are in the same boat as a Beiber fan, and should be removed from society.
After a moment or two, I noticed the faint smell of leather following
me around. At first I couldn’t place it, kept thinking it was from the mental image of sliding into a Aston Martin every time I put these in
my ears. I was surprised to find the pleasing scent coming from the
ear bud cable. Confused I asked randomly around the office and
every one could smell leather. This was amazing, I feel sick when I
try out a new pair of ear buds or headphones and they reek of sickening plastics.
After a few songs my ears where picking up little nuances here and
there. I was hearing smooth clean highs and midrange, at full
volume, with out them driving spikes into my brain. At the same time
the lows and bass, both audible and felt with out bouncing around
This company does not cater to one music genre like so many
others. They don’t care if you listen to Polka or Death Metal. The
only thing Jays of Sweden want you to do with their line-up, is enjoy
your music in the clearest way possible and with money still in your
pocket. Upgrade from those horrid ear buds that kill your ears and
grab something that will make sweet, sweet audio love to you.
