The knobs I received were NOT .25" diameter shaft knobs. They were instead 6mm diameter shaft knobs. Although it's only a slight difference, it might be important if you have a 1/4" shaft, they will NOT fit. My calipers register the knobs at exactly 6.11mm diameter internally.
That said, they are solid, hefty, and beautiful. They fit my 6mm rotary encoders perfectly.
I almost gave these knobs a "4 star" rating, because of the incorrect information in the listing, but the knobs themselves are fantastic, so I'll keep it at 5.
