Ever drive down a barren highway, wondering what it might be like to red line? To feel the danger, freedom and exhilaration that overwhelms your senses when you hit the gas?
In life, there are moments where to "red line" means deciding that reward on the horizon outweighs the risk. Where to "red line" means that we are willing to go beyond our comfort zone and strive for greatness.
The founders of red line/a_line—manufacturers of luxury timepieces for over three decades—have held true to the belief that a person's watch should symbolize something beyond just minute hands and push buttons. After all, we look at our watch more times than we look at anything else. It should symbolize more to its owner.
So while each red line/a_line timepiece is manufactured to the highest of standards, it is more than about telling time. The signature red crown on every red line watch should serve as a constant reminder that in life risks are worth taking; that it is ok to go beyond your limits and to Never Look Back.

The clasp is hidden, which is nice. So the band looks unbroken. It's just one of those hidden features that you don't think about but shows the thought that went into the design. It's comfortable, I don't notice the clasp throughout the day like I notice on other watches.
I like the design of the hands inside the face, especially the second hand. It's got this open arrow at the end and it just looks sleek. I feel like they really paid attention to every detail of design for this watch. Nothing looks clumsy or bulky or cheap.
I don't understand the negative watch reviews just because someone had to take several links out. That's what you have to do with a watch. Yes I had a few links taken out, and I expect to have to do this with every watch I buy. This is how everyone gets to wear a watch, no matter your wrist size. The guy that took the links out did so very smoothly with no problems, it didn't look hard at all. I just didn't have the tools to do it myself.
And can I just say WOW about the packaging! Once I opened the regular brown Amazon box, I saw the white a_line box. It's like a gift box, square cardboard with a lid that you lift right up. Then inside that is another a_line box, the one with the curved front that you see in the product image. Then inside that is the compartment where your watch is resting around a satin pillow. Yep, this watch was enclosed around a satin pillow.Read more ›
