This book is obviously dated, but it's not just for history buffs. Pure and simple, if people had any idea what was going on fifty years ago, they would understand what's really going on now. Stang cuts through the chaff and gives the real deal, and the avalanche of detailed documentation every step of the way is awesome, considering that it was all compiled long before the Internet. A chilling wake-up call!

I can make this short. In 1858, ten years after revolutions in Europe, was born in Houston, Texas, one Edward Mandell House (known to all as "Colonel House." This book was published in 1968. I recommend it to anyone who wants to know the history of the Council on Foreign Relations, Woodrow Wilson's statement that he had destroyed the nation he took an oath to protect, the collectivisation of American society and industry, the New World Order, propaganda (House predates Bernays)....this is the best book you can read. Published in the height of the 1960s Age of Aquarius, it received little notice. People of the world, unite, and dissassemble--Edwin House, a contemporary of Marx, certainly did not need the Communist Manifesto to conceive of taking over the world--he launched the program of his own accord.

This book is well-referenced, and should be read by any political hack, NWO afficionado, so-called "conspiracy theorist," anyone interested in how you seem to live in a 1984 world--it was conceived by House, and launched by his most influential student, Woodrow Wilson.

Although the book purports to be an expose on John Foster Dulles, former Secretary of State, it is much, much more.

Highly recommended by a highly trained scholar.
