They arrived together with identical packaging and labels.
drive1 has: 1,000,203,091,968 sectors
drive2 has: 1,024,209,543,168 sectors
The first is a normal sized 1TB drive. The second is not.
This is not an issue until you try to clone the larger on to the smaller, or onto any other 1TB drive, and find out that the destination drive is too small. Then it becomes a major inconvenience.
Adlink needs to ship identically-sized 1TB drives.
Installation was a breeze, although please note that it does NOT come with an m2 screw. Luckily, my motherboard (ASRock master sli x470) had an m2 slot cover with heatsink built in. If your mobo has multiple m2 slots, make sure you pick the one rated the fastest (there can be differences).
I had two m2 slot choices (I went with first one, which is the right choice):
1 Ultra M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x4 & SATA3)
1 M.2 (PCIe Gen2 x2 & SATA3)
Windows setup took awhile, but once completed things have been magnificent. I was using a 480gb Adata SU650 previously. Although it was fast, this is noticeably faster. After my mobo posts, the Windows logo appears for about 1-2 seconds before I reach the desktop. Programs load instantly. The entire system just feels incredibly zippy. I should have bought a high-quality m2 drive like this a long time ago!
I ran the CrystalMark benchmarks right after installing Windows. 3468 MB/sec read and 2280 MB/sec write. These speeds are even faster than what was advertised (by a little).
Temperatures are excellent. Monitoring with HWInfo64, I have the current temps after a fresh restart:
Min - 14c
Max - 31c
Average - 22c
I noticed that the temps fluctuate a lot within those ranges (i.e., it will go to 14c, then bounce up to 26c, then back down to 14c, etc.). But the max temperature, even during heavy use, has always been in the 30s.
In short, this drive has exceeded my expectations. If this drive lasts, I will definitely buy from this company again in the future.
Update: 1/19/19. Have purchased both the 256 and 512 GB to use exactly as the vendor stated in a 3.0X4 PCI-E configuration-both work as described. Addlink has a support website but they have no manufacturer drivers. Addlink relies on Native Driver support, so for those that want to use as a boot drive to run WIN-7 you need the Hotfixes stated by Addlink on their feature listing, unfortunately, both are no longer available from M$ because Intel and M$ want you to spend big bucks to immigrate to bloat-ware WIN-10 and the Intel 8 or 9 Series processors do not support WIN-7. No problem, using both with Ubuntu so they work just fine.

Not certain about the LED's - they change colour over time. Mainly hidden away in my box so a bit of wasted space really. And finally do make sure your motherboard etc supports it. Even though my box is 4 years old, no slot for it. Had to buy a PCIe card to get it fitted - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07CBJ6RH7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . But worth it!
