The Alliance II Sackpack is the perfect team sackpack. There is one large compartment with drawstring closure complete with air mesh ventilation. This sackpack also has a front zippered valuables pocket that is lined with soft tricot fabric. There are two side mesh pockets that are deep enough to fit water bottles, gym clothes, whatever you need to carry. The adidas embroidered brandmark and the screen-printed signature 3-Stripes complete the design of the Alliance Sport.

Cons: the pockets don't expand outwards, but inwards (as can ben seen in the photos). This means that putting 1 or 2 water bottles in those pockets actually decreases the volume of the main pocket. If those water bottle pockets expanded outwards I would definitely give this a 10/10. Either way I will probably purchase another in the near future.
BACK TO SCHOOL/TYPES OF BAGS: Sacks are intended to be used like daypacks not backpacks. What's the difference? It's like a backpack only with little to no padding, lightweight, rarely waterproof, and meant to carry lightweight objects like extra clothes. Backpacks are sturdy for text books and gym bags will fit all your athletic gear. For after school activities, Ogio makes quality inexpensive gym/athletic bags with padded shoulder straps and handles like this one: OGIO Half Dome Duffel Bag These sacks work well as small to go bags for the gym; little more than a towel and change of clothes.
TRAVEL: These fit nicely under the seat in front of you on airplanes and can hold snacks, medications, entertainment - everything you need. My laptop will fit in some of these bags but there's no padding and it leaves no room for anything else.
WASHING: These aren't machine washable or waterproof. There's no rubber coating inside to protect your stuff in rainy weather. The tag inside says to hand wash only and line dry. DURABILITY: Some styles are better than others. I don't expect this bag to last long. One of my bags is an Adidas Rumble Sack adidas Rumble Sackpack, One Size, Prime Camo Bold Blue/Black which is slightly sturdier and has better pocket choices.
POCKETS: So this has just the main one on the outside and two mesh ones on either side that almost meet in the middle. They are deep. It takes effort to keep the strings on your shoulders - they do fall down and aren't adjustable. On average, these bags last me 2-3 years with moderate use. COLOR: I ordered the light blue which is somewhat sheer, but the color is as expected. It will be quite a challenge to keep it clean though. PICS: Bag indoors is very pale but brighter in light. Potential design issue where I expect the stitching to unravel at some point.
The quality seems to be very high and I've used it almost daily for a couple of months and it still seems like new. I like the thickness of the straps, they are just the right diameter to make them durable without them being too large for the bag.
I use it at the gym. The small pocket up front holds wallet, keys, and spare earbuds. My over-the-ear headphones, a pair of shoes, and a small towel go in the main pocket. I put a 24 oz shaker bottle in one side pocket and a Camelback Chute in the other one. Hopefully that gives you an idea for capacity.
