Didn’t work for Kung Fu

Very comfortable shoe and extremely comfortable. However they are not for use with all styles. I practice northern style kung fu and the shoes couldn’t hold up. It’s possible tae kwon do is more linear and requires fewer turns and foot adjustments. But the shoes are falling apart after about a month of use; the soles are ripping off of both shoes! I loved the shoes until they fell apart so I would not recommend these for another style.

Good quality but some drawbacks

The shoes are made of good quality material, they are comfortable and breathable. I originally received the wrong pair and the seller was quick to correct the mistake at no expense to myself. However I've found 2 drawbacks so far

First up is the opening of the shoe is extremely narrow. It's not so bad as to squeeze the ankle but it makes getting your foot into them rather difficult. Once on they are plenty comfortable but getting them on is a bit of a pain

Second is there are no wide-size options. The sole of the shoe is much more narrow than my actual foot and makes balancing slightly more difficult. Mind you I went a bit larger than I thought I would need and the sole is still too narrow.

Overall still a good product and these complaints are likely just due to the fact that I have large feet

Comfortable, not durable

The three stars are for the comfort of these shoes. The padding on top, having no laces, and the flexibility combine to make for comfort and power in kicks to the bag.
I found the soles a bit grippy on the mat, resisting pivots and slides. This may have contributed to the main defect: In about two months, or 80 hours of use, the sole has started to delaminate and tear. Some glue has kept the shoes in service, but has created a hard edge.
Some styles may be better suited, those with straight and percussive movements: Tai Kwon Do, Mui Thai. Less so for Kung Fu.

Not worthy to be part of the Adidas family

Size is not true to size. I ordered 9.5 and 13. The 9.5 is small by half to one size and the 13 is big by 2 sizes. So sizing isn't consistent at all. The way the bottom of the shoe is made makes it difficult to not roll your ankle. I would stay away from these. They are definitely not worthy of the Adidas name.

I bought these for my daughter to wear in Karate class after injuring her toe. Overall the shoe is well made and she finds them comfortable. With no way to adjust them, the opening around the ankle needs to be fairly tight to keep them on in use. We've found this makes them quite difficult to get on. Once on, they are stable and secure. The outsole is thin and flexible, but does offer good added protection for the toes.

Ich kann nur vom Kauf dieses Schuhs abraten. Der Fuß hat keinerlei Halt im Schuh. Zum Knöchel hin schließt der er zwar gut ab, durch das labbrige Kunstleder-Material ohne jegliche Verstärkung oder Führung rutscht man auch bei der optimalen Schuhgröße hin und her. Bei einem Dreh- oder Sprungkick wird man sehr leicht umknicken. Für den Einsatz im Kampfsport ist das natürlich nicht akzeptabel.

Ich habe mich bei der Bestellung gefreut, dass Adidas endlich wieder einen Schuh im Sortiment hat, den man nicht schnüren muss und an das alte Modell "Adidas Taekwondo" erinnert, dass leider nicht mehr hergestellt wird. Leider bin bin wieder von Adidas enttäuscht worden.

If you have American / European / Australian Body types, consider the need to size up

Good shoes for the price, but as a 6.1" Australian, I had to go up 2 additional Shoe sizes from my normal US shoe size just to get my foot into the shoes. (I'm normally 10.5US and had to go to 12.5US). They are quite narrow compared to most shoe manufacturers footprints so also keep that in mind. My foot is a regular width bordering on wide width and the smaller sized shoe felt like it was strangling my foot. Definitely upsize so you can fit into it and comfortably wear it. I didn't put any pics as I'm sure noone wants to see my feet.

The mouth/opening of the shoe is so tight that the back tab ripped when I tried to put the shoe on. No laces so you cant loosen it either, worst design ever. The fitting once you manage to get your hoofer in is correct but again, you'll need a shoe horn, lubricant and the finger strength of a professional thumb wrestler to achieve this
