Here's a sizing chart from the tags with waist then inseam:
Small 29-31 & 30.75
Med. 32-34 & 31
L. 34-36 & 32
XL. 36-38 & 33
XXL. 38-40 & 34
XXXL 40-43 & 34.75
I broke my leg and wanted a pair of comfortable pants with pockets and a wide bottom. The wide bottom is helpful with pulling them over a splint or tender ankle/leg. I would purchase these again.

What kind of genetic freaks are these pants made for? I heard they run large and are baggy up top and I thought that would suit me fine, so I got a medium. I'm 5'10 and about 190, but I'm skinny-fat with a full sized spare tire and ample trunk space. I usually wear a 36 waist and 30-32 inseam. The waist was ok, maybe slightly big, but good enough. But they end about an inch above my ankle. And the crotch on these are closer to my knees than my actual crotch, and the fabric at thighs pulls out at least a 1-1.5 feet. I tried them on and did the Hammer Dance around the house until the wife told me to knock it off.

So if you are in a 90's rap cover band, buy these. If you are The Penguin and need exercise to keep in shape for the eventual Batman encounter, buy these. Normal humans - look elsewhere.

In 2013 these exact same pants were great. But now 2015 they are TOTALLY WRONG. Very large legs very short length. We have two pair purchased 2013, same product numbers on the tags same size. My husband lives in them. I was really happy to find what I hoped would be the exact same thing for him. Not even close. I did see the bad reviews on sizing and hoped we would get lucky and not get big baggy pants. Ordered two pair different colors and BOTH pair were way way off. I have the old ones to compare to. The lengthon the new ones is at least one inch shorter and the leg width laying the new under the old on a flat surface is a good 2 inches wider. That translates into 4 extra inches of material on the pant leg. REALLY?! Adidas get your act together and tighten up your requirements when having these made overseas. Yes the old ones we have and love were made overseas. This is just sloppy over-site on quality control. I would avoid ordering these if you have some from the past and loved them. They are completely different. Now if you are on the shorter side and little wider side of life, then the material and stitching (quality) is fine. Just know Medium is really Large Short. If you are a large go for medium. If you are tall at all or even average you might want to pass. RETURNED BOTH. Hope the old ones can hold on a little longer until we figure something else out.

At 5'10", 145 pounds, my inseam length is 29", making the pants 3' too long. But the killer is the elastic waistband, which must have been manufactured for someone with a 25" waist, which, to my modest 32" or 33" waist, functions more as a tourniquet. Unfortunately, the super-tough waistband on this extremely well-made pair of pants will surely take an eternity to stretch out. In the meantime, wearing these pants, for any length of time, if worn high, interferes with the breathing. Worn low, is to constrict the blood flow to the lower extremities. Worn at waist level, it hurts.

I don't understand how adidas is so far off on sizing. Over many years My favorite workout pants that fit the best are adidas and somehow the worst workout pants I've ever bought are also adidas. It makes ordering adidas online almost impossible.

I'm 5'11 185 pounds and ordered a medium. The waist and length are good, but for the width of legs to make sense I would have to have the thighs of either a professional body builder or my morbidly obese cousin. My wife asked me if I bought a xxxl when she saw them. If I made a mistake and put both legs in the same side I might not have immediately returned these. I really don't get it. If these are meant to be worn over shorts (or seemingly catchers gear) please just say that and save me the trouble of ordering!

Adidas I would love to somehow tell you what my favorite pants are from you that I bought about 4 years ago and buy 4 pairs.... Unfortunately every pair of adidas 3 striped pants is a gamble and I'm not sure how many more times I can order and be disappointed by you.

Adidas has very nice clothing, sneakers and gear. Great quality, it is always there, I bought these for my 17 year old son, and they are perfect to suit his taste. His brother definitely likes the slimmer, skinny styles, and even though my boys are all slim my 17 year old does not like the skinny wear style of clothes. He prefers the regular straight leg look. Adidas has great clothes, he got just what he wanted, he looks great in them and he can still wear the Adidas style in the cut he prefers. I will definitely buy again, my son loves them, says thay are comfortable, and have held up during numerous washes,

They're really nice looking and comfortable, I would say that's the pants best feature. However, the fit is my only complaint. Not because of the company but because I listened to other reviewers. I shouldn't have listened to other people saying order a size smaller because they're too baggy. Because of this I ordered a small, they fit perfect girth-wise, but the length is too short since I'm 6ft tall. I should have ordered at least a medium. I wouldn't have cared if they were too baggy at least they wouldn't have been too short. Aren't workout pants suppose to be a little baggy anyhow? Don't listen to people saying these are too baggy.

I wanted to get some sweat pants for the gym but I was not sure about sizing with cotton based products as I have had shrink issues. These looked like a good alternative. Based upon other reviews I ordered the medium (I am a size 35 W 31L). I tried these on as soon as I got them and they were a perfect fit on the waist. The waist drawstring helps to keep secure. The length was 30, a little short but since wear these while cycling this was not a problem for me. The material weight is great, not thin like other workout pants that I have purchased. Good for working out on cooler days. They have held up well after four washings. The only drawback so far is a little pilling around the pocket openings. I will probably order another pair.

These shrunk in the wash and are now way too short. They also run a little large and are very wide at the bottom. So they are now referred to as the "clown pants". For reference these were for an individual who is 5'11 1/2 and 190 lbs. I've never had a pair of Adidas pants shrink before. A complete waste of money.

Comfortable, great material, and move with the body. I am 6'0 and the length went past my heel and after washing goes to my heel. I imagine they will shrink a little each time I wash which is a little disappointing. I didn't feel the tightness but noticed the length at the bottom decrease.
