I have walked 18 on an undulating course. The shoes felt great and my feet definitely did not feel tired at all at the end of the round - as they used to when wearing the FJ's. You just don't feel these shoes!! In addition, while these shoes are not waterproof, they definitely are water resistant. I have played a number of rounds where the grass was very wet from a heavy Seattle dew/fog, and they did keep my feet dry.
Looks cool too!
In regards to the shoes, I did like them very much. Nice style, but simply too small; especially narrow. I typically get shoes in the 10-10.5 'D' range. I got the 10.5 size, but toe almost touches the end and the shoe seems more like a 'C' width, vs. 'medium', which typically means 'D'. Even if I order the 11", which would fit in the length, it would still be too narrow. I would have loved to have had them fit, but since I need to pay the postage on returns, I'm not going to take a chance on the 11"s.
My concern is related only with the size. I specifically ordered the 9.5 W size because it's my size. No doubts. Amazon order confirmation and invoice shows size number as requested. The surprise was here, in Colombia, when I opened the box and found that my shoes were dispatched with the wrong size: 9.5 . They feel so tight.
Please note that I have no practical ways to return them from my country, so I have to keep them in the closet of useless stuff.
But mid summer afternoon golf shoe... this one is tops.. and no need to change shoes from the car to the course to the club house to the after golf BBQ at your friends house... this one will do it all.
