***** Update (now 5 stars): I found the size 10.5 Adidas in the maroon color I wanted, and ordered them. The size 10.5 fit much better (less tight across the top of my foot), even if a little long at the toes. In the right size, these shoes are very light and comfortable. They look great and should last a good while as casual wear shoes. I don't plan to use them for sports beyond gym training shoes.
*** Previously (3 stars) ; I saw the reviews that the shoe sizes run small, but ordered size 9.5 since it was available. Upon arrival and trying them on, it was a struggle to get the shoes on my feet (even with thin socks). The saddle of the shoe (just below the laces) is too tight across the top of the foot, and does not give or stretch. The length was fine, but too tight or too narrow to fit my foot. I had to return them. I will keep looking for the shoe in the same maroon color, but order a size 10 or 10.5 the next time.

Been wearing these a week and they're great. Light but supportive. I'm on my feet on concrete for ten hours a day and these have made it feel more like 4. Only done a couple jobs in them but they did great. I ordered a size up but it seems shoes have been shrinking the past few years. The last athletic shoes I bought were NB and a size 15 for me well. I've tried Nike and NB lately and 15 was too small in both. Got a 16 wide in these Adidas and they fit great.

I purchase the Adidas Speed Trainer 2 basically because of the styling of the shoe, great look! However, I did order one size larger based on other reviews here and I am glad I did. I normally wear a size 14 but ordered a 15 and fit fine in the toe area (length). Yes, as other reviewers have stated, these definitely run on the small side not just in length but these shoes are pretty narrow. They do fit snug on my feet! I have been wearing them at the gym and do offer good arch support and are comfortable to wear! They will probably stretch out more as I wear them. These shoes are very light weight with minimal material. These are not a heavy duty shoe at all so they will wear out extremely fast if you are hard on shoes and wearing them all day. The shoe laces are really thin! Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase!

I am quite impressed by these shoes, especially given their price compared to other trainers. These shoes were true-to-size compared to other Adidas shoes, in terms of both length and width. When I order shoes online, I try to stick with Adidas because their sizes across shoe models are very consistent.
The shoes look great, are comfortable, and have proven to be durable. I can wear them all day without any discomfort, and they make decent running shoes for shorter distance (~5 miles). I would recommend them as an everyday multi-purpose pair of shoes.

I'm a big fan of the new "Trainer" shoe craze thats blown up. Up until now I have rocked the Nike Free 3.0, but their designs have gotten a little out of control, so I thought I'd try the Adidas version. Glad I did. Cheaper than Nike, just as comfy (if not more so, time will tell), and not quite as "over-designed".
I wear a 16 in Nike, Asics, Adidas Originals, but apparently not in new Adidas. The 16 was very small. All 5 toes were deforming the end of the shoe. Aside from them being to small, they were super light, very cushy sole, and seemed to have great arch support. On top of very long feet, i also have very narrow and flat feet to boot. These run on the narrow side, and that is great for me.
I returned the 16's and ordered the 17's. It was annoying that the 16's were Prime, and the 17's weren't prime and $7 more expensive, 24 hours later.
Solid shoe so far.

I'm a size 15.5 and order 16. That usually leaves a bit of space at the toe, which is comfortable. These shoes were snug at first and comfortable without the extra space. Taking only short walks in them at first I didn't have a problem with them; but I now find if I wear them all day I get a blister at the very tip of my longest toe. These are the only Adidas I've owned and I don't often buy the tennis shoe style, so take this for what it's worth. The quality seems pretty good. After a lot of wear they're still structurally sound and the sole is in good shape. Just some minor tears on the material covering the mesh around the toe box where it gets frequently bent from walking movement.

These were a gift, so the review was written by the person who received these sneakers:
These sneakers fit me perfectly. They are so light weight that it almost feels like I'm not wearing anything on my feet. (Almost.)
The tread on the bottom is great on every surface from tile to whatever rubber stuff it is they use to make newer playgrounds.
I got these so I could have a lighter (color and weight) sneaker for summer, as I will be doing a lot of walking around in the sun. So far, these sneakers have been exactly what I was looking for in a supplemental pair of sneakers.
I got a smudge on my right sneaker when someone stepped on my foot, which was completely my fault, but I will say that it's taken a lot longer for other sneakers to stain/smudge in the past. I'm not sure if this is due to the fabric or not, but the mark won't come off using traditional methods. (It just seemed to be spreading when I tried to clean it off, so I stopped before I made things worse.) Just something to consider if you'll be wearing these anywhere that is heavily trafficked.
I may buy a second pair of these as a backup, but I'll wait until I see what they look like with a little more mileage on them.

I got these shoes for $54 on Prime and consider them a great value for that price. As reviewers noted, the run a little small, so I bought them a half size larger than normal and they fit perfectly. They are fairly light but sturdy which is good for my use of the shoes in everyday walking of 5 miles per morning or jogging on a treadmill when weather is poor. I have only had them a few days, so I can't yet vouch for their durability, but they seem well constructed. I have had good experiences with Adidas brand shoes in recent years in terms of durability.
