UPDATE: 2/27/21 -- So far these shoes have held up to many hours in the gym, and im loving them just as much as the day i bought them. Very solid and stable platform to use for all kinds of push/pull workouts. In no way has the shoe fallen apart or degraded at all, including the interior of the shoe. I wear them 3-5 times per week, and going on 2 years of ownership. 5 star purchase and goes great with all my black workout clothes.
Laces are long enough (not short and not too long) and the lock down velcro strap works great. The shoes appear to be of good quality, and since you won't be running a marathon in them, I envision they will last for year and years. They are made of a nylon material that has a good look to it, they are comfortable, and look really sharp in my opinion.
I read other reviews online and it suggested that you get a half size larger than your normal size since the shoes run narrow. My normal size is a 10, so I got a 10.5. My foot width is normal, and honestly, I could have probably gone with the size 10, rather than going up a size. The 10.5's fit fine, but I didn't see the need to go the half size higher. Just a thought but everyone's feet are different.

As for fit, they are a bit tight, as expected. You don’t want your foot moving around in your shoe during heavy lifts, you want a firm foothold. Some people even go so far as to buy a size down, but I’m not sure that is necessary.
The velcro strap is secure. The reeboks I am replacing were heavier, and the velcro straps stopped staying closed after about a year. I much prefer these, and they are very affordable compared to other options.
Very well made.
