Now for the drawback, I purchased the black ones and went to practice on a warm, sunny day in the great Northeast and my feet were hot.I usually don't sweat a lot but for those who do you may want to buy a lighter color or wear Under Amour socks. I usually don't have a problem with dark leather golf shoes but the fabric on these feel as through they don't breathe as well. Let's see what happens when I play in damp, wet conditions.
I do like them enough that I'm buying a lighter shade of the same shoe to play in hot summer conditions as I walk most times when I play. You'll feel like Jason Day when playing in these and rip your drives down the fairway as they provide excellent ground support. I recommend these.
Great looking shoe, built well. Only complaint is that once in the sun I could see that only the left shoe has a "orange-ish" hue/stain over the entire toe area due to a discoloration in the piece of material that was selected to make this shoe. Never noticed while unboxing and trying on, but once in the sun at the course it was noticeable. By then they were "worn" and unable to be returned. Otherwise this shoe would be 5 stars
The major problem and disappointment for me is that after roughly twenty rounds, the gripmore cleats which are part a bed glued to the soles became detached and torn on both shoes. This is the first time I've encountered a design defect on any golf shoes that I've purchased. I play more than 220 rounds per season, own more than a dozen pairs evenly split between Footjoy and Adidas. I cannot recommend these to anyone.
I've played a couple rounds in them as well, and they work quite well....nice and stable and the bottoms are more grippy than other spikeless I've used yet don't imprint into the greens as much even after crouching down for a bit. Living in Arizona, I will say my feet get hotter in these than the average shoe for sure...not quite as breathable as I like. That whacks off a star for sure.
If you are like me and you are looking for a quality shoe in this price point, you will not be disappointed.
the first time I walked 18 holes in them, it felt like I was walking on clouds, soft clouds at that. they keep my feet dry and rested while I carry my clubs.
will most likely buy another pair before they go off the market or Adidas makes an improvement that kills the design!
