I bought these for my 10 year old grandson. Anyone who has young children knows that they can go through shoes in a matter of weeks, particularly if they are not well made. These shoes are both well made and good looking. My grandson likes them so much, he makes sure that he keeps them clean and stays out of the mud etc when he's wearing them. He's worn them every day for a month now and they still look new. I will probably buy these again when they finally wear out. Thumbs up!

Fits great in size 8. Looks comfortable. Very cute on my 2 year old. He loves them and wants to keep them on all day and night. I have to convince him they’ll still be here in the morning so he doesn’t have to sleep in them lol. Yes he only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I was expecting real laces that tie and not Velcro. Nowhere in description does it say it is Velcro. As you can see in the pictures I attached the laces are faux.
Maybe it’s based on size...maybe the bigger kids sizes are with tying laces but I would’ve liked to see it in a photo or description.

I won’t be returning them simply because my son LOVES them and wakes up wanting to wear them. The saving grace is the tongue has stretchy bands that keep tongue close to foot and prevents show from slipping off even if Velcro loosens.

Bought these for myself bc all the womens shoes look like running shoes in store & most high tops run in kids..i wear 8 & a half in womens & bought these in boys in 7s to ensure they fit & they do comfortably with even a lil bit of room..not too much or too little just perfect..no complaints!

I ordered these for my son as I was having a hard time finding his size in stores with similar shoes. He wears a 2 in boys and was adamant about having high tops this year. The shoes arrived as expected and the quality was what I would expect with any adidas product. My son loved the feel and the fit of the shoe. It is true to size but was a little wider, which worked out for us since my son has wider feet. This shoe is not a very “light” shoe for summer but is great for the fall.

What happened to the velcro closure???

What a disappointment! I should have read some of the other reviews more closely because it has already been mentioned that in some instances these shoes do not come as pictured. This is exactly what happened in my case with this December 2020 purchase. Instead of receiving the sneakers with the velcro closure as shown in the product description, I got the ones with the laces. The only reason I purchased these particular sneakers to begin with was so that my first grader would not have to deal with the laces in the morning and in school. Obviously, these are going back. It is not clear whether only the toddler sizes are the velcroed versions, so keep in mind that if you're specifically buying these for a young school-aged kid and care about the velcros, buy some other shoes as a backup in case these arrive with laces. I'm hoping Amazon will change the pictures appropriately to reflect what the shoe actually looks like. Total waste of time on this purchase... and finding a good replacement is difficult.

I’m upset! Normally I order adidas either directly through their website or through Amazon and always got quality items with speed and accuracy. Well, NOT TODAY!!!!
I ordered the black all leather like material sneaker with red on the top portion in back of the sneaker. (As shown in the image provided)
HOWEVER, I was sent some all black flimsy material product with red bottoms. That’s NOT what I paid for!
I feel taken advantage because we are in the middle of a pandemic and I can NOT go to the post office that’s currently NOT practicing social distancing and now my kid doesn’t have sneakers that he can use when he takes his break from remote learning to go outside and get some physical activity going.
NOT COOL!!!
Now I’m on hold w/ “customer service that’s probably going to tell me to FLY a kite or something once they FINALLY answer the phone.

Bigger sizes are not velcro!

Product images are misleading. You most likely get won't get the Velcro shoes if you order a bigger size. I ordered a size 5 big kid shoe and it has laces. They are also a little tight. I would definitely go up a half size or full size. My son also has orthopedic inserts that are thin and he can't wear them with these shoes because they are a little small. He can wear the size 5's without the inserts fine after breaking them in but just know your children will probably complain they are too tight. However, they are a nice quality shoe that seem like the real deal and are nicely made and tough.
