I really love the look of these shoes, but unfortunately the performance doesn't work for me. The soles of these shoes are much more flexible than most trail runners, and I don't think they'll provide adequate cushion on really rocky trails. Probably fine for nice packed dirt or crushed gravel, but not more rugged trails. I also don't care for the tongue on this shoe- it is not cushioned and digs into my ankle/leg when going "downhill." (I tested these out on my staircase, so outdoor results may vary.
I have a slightly wide toe box, and found that these rubbed on my pinky toes too much for comfort. I'm going with Sauconys instead, which are much less cute but more suited to tough trails.
