I'm 5'3" and 107 lbs and I got the XS. I feel like they fit perfectly and are maybe even a bit too tight. These are a little too long for my legs so I fold them inwards at the bottom and it looks fine. I could go for the scrunched up look at the bottom by keeping the length as is but I find that it bunches on my knees too much when I do that. I thought maybe these would fit kind of like harem pants with the top half a little baggy and the bottom tight but they actually fit more like skinny jeans. The butt is fitted, the thighs are a little looser, then it gets tight on the bottom. If you don't have a flat butt and you're around the same size as me, you probably want a size small. There's zippers at the ankle area so I can easily take the pants on and off or have it a little looser. Without unzipping, it can be a little snug and takes a little effort to get them past your ankles and feet. They don't strangle your ankles or anything though. Don't worry.
Anyway, the material is nice and they're more fashionable than wearing sweats or the regular baggier cut athletic pants. In terms of comfort, I still have to give it to regular sweatpants. These are definitely comfortable but they're not made of magical unicorns or anything. Still cool though.
UPDATE: These are very comfortable and they make me lazier with my everyday outfits. I also pretend like I play soccer when people stare at me because you would stare too if a potato walked in wearing athletic gear. I would probably wear these to a club because once I put them on for the day, I have a hard time taking them off.
I have included photos that I feel properly represent how these pants look on an average person.
UPDATE #2: I also got a size small for days when I'm bloated and unhappy and it's much baggier than XS. It doesn't have a skinny fit at all and basically fits me like regular track pants. However, the waist is more loose and comfortable when I sit down.
The last time I purchased these was about 1.5 years ago - so here are the few minor changes Adidas made:
1) The material is a bit lighter/more breathable than my previous pair - which is a good thing. They feel a bit more comfortable.
2) The fit a tiny bit slimmer - not tight - still very roomy & comfortable.
3) The bottom ankle part where it zips down is a bit more comfortable. My previous pair (from 2015) was very tight at the ankle & you had to unzip it to get your foot through. These are still snug at the ankle - but I can fit my foot through, even with the zipper closed.
Overall, these are quality sports pants that fit well and are comfortable.
Side Note: I got a size SMALL and I'm 5'2" with an athletic build. They fit perfectly (except the length is always too long for me. So I just fold them under about 2" inches).
2nd Side Note - The white ones are just too transparent. I had to return them as you could see my underwear & even the pockets sewn inside the pants! (I don't know how they missed this while creating the white ones- shame - because I really wanted them in white)
