Started playing airsoft just a few moths ago with one of those 'specials' from an Oriental store in the mall. You know the ones: that half price deal you got in the mall that was $50 more than you found it online later on. Oops, and lesson learned.
Used that along with a $5 spring pistol, later got a CO2 GBB (Gas Blow Back) pistol, then swapped for non-GBB CO2 pistol. Target practice in the backyard with pop cans, one really good war with 20 or so kids, and a few little skirmishes and I've learned what I could along the way.

Anyway, finally decided to spend a couple bucks and get an 'intermediate' gun and decided on a rifle. This seemed to be the right choice, and after two weeks of moderate use it certainly has not been disappointing. I have not played any war games with it yet - will try to update with any relevant info when I do.

Had to purchase a battery and a charger for mine, picked up the 1600 mah battery (guy at the unnamed store said each mah is fairly equal to one shot, so 1600 mah = 1600 shots on each charge - seems to be about accurate after going through 2 charges on the battery).

The included hi-cap mag holds 450 rounds - reloading during game play is a thing of the past (depending of course on game duration and ammo use).

You have to wind a little gear at the bottom of the mag which winds the spring and loads maybe 200 bbs each wind - this is a bit of a pain because it's tedious, time consuming, and noisy (takes 15-20 seconds if you 'rub' it on a wooden 2X4 back and forth like an old wind up car - seems to be the fastest way). Sometimes the spring makes funny noises during, after, and occasionally well after winding it up all the way.

This is a very good gun made by g&g. It shoots at about 370ish fps to possible 400 fps. It is very accurate and reliable. I highly recommend getting this gun if your just sick of your guns breaking and having problems.

Very reliable, lightweight and thoroughly effective AEG. You just plug in a battery, put whatever accessories you want (mostly) and the gun just shoots and shoots. Fairly low velocity (300~ w/ 0.20), so it's good for indoor and it definitely shoots straight. It has battery storage in the stock, solid rails throughout and a selector switch with no slop. All of this is great for the money. If you buy the gun, a nun-chuck battery and run the stock magazines, it's great.

However, there are some minor issues that do ruin the sweet price of this gun for me. For one, it's extremely picky about magazines. It doesn't like some of the polymer mags and it won't feed the common MAG mid-caps, so I couldn't use most of the spare mags I had on hand and had to spend extra money. The plastic rail is sturdy, but out of spec for some accessories like common vertical grips and flashlights

So, I reiterate it's good if you run the gun with nothing on it as is, but I like to personalize my guns and run mid-cap mags, so it's not for me, and I can't recommend it offhand to everyone as the perfect beginner's gun.

I have had multiple high end guns break on me from just a few light uses, and this made me very frustrated with airsoft. This led me to become fed up with airsoft, and I almost quit. Instead I went back to lower end guns. They weren't very good, but they worked every time. I was outgunned by my friends so I decided to go for a more reliable gun. Wow. Good job G&G. This gun is like the Tippmann 98 Custom (Very reliable paintball gun) of airsoft. Its very powerful, very high ROF, good velocity, and very upgradeable. The gun is mostly a very strong polymer, with some metal parts. The metal parts are: Almost all the internals, the dust cover, the outer and inner barrel, the mag, trigger, trigger guard, front sight, rear sight, charging handle, forward assist, bolt catch, fire selector switch, sling mounts, mag release, and buffer tube. One nice feature on this rifle is the pistol grip. Its much more comfortable than a standard m4's.

Pros:
Solid construction for the most part.
Solid FPS for both CQB and field play. (right around 350)
Excellent range and accuracy for the price.
Quad rail system
Nice pistol grip
450rd mag
Very upgradeable
Crane stock provides nice cheek rest and battery storage
Nice iron sights
G&G has some of the best internals in the market.
Over 900 RPM, about 14 RPS with a 9.6V battery
Very light

Cons:
Could have more metal
Upper receiver is a bit wobbly
Charging handle does not open the dust cover, instead you have to manually open the dust cover, and hold it down to adjust the hop up
Sometimes the stock is hard to adjust due to the battery wires folding up and making the stock stiff

Over all, the cons are trivial and are beaten out by the pros. I highly recommend this gun for any M4 lover who wants to upgrade from Crosman, Double Eagle, and other beginner airsoft brands.
