As long as you're diligent in cleaning the screen and not letting dust get underneath, you'll have a beautiful, seamless look on your screen. I've applied amFilm to iPad Pro 12.9", 9.7", iPhone 7+, and now my new Nintendo Switch. It was the first accessory I purchased for my Switch.

Just applied mine, it took about 5 minutes, no dust underneath but I did have a big fat bubble in the middle. No worries, easily fixed. Gently lift the closest top/bottom corner of the protector until you get to the bubble, then continue to apply even pressure from the bubble out to the corner, and the bubble goes away, no problem! Align from the bottom, looking for the cutouts and that half-moon cutout on the bottom left.

Another tip is to start a hot shower in the bathroom and do your application there on the bathroom counter after the hot shower has steamed things up and allowed the dust to settle to the floor. Now I don't have to worry about scratching my plastic Switch screen (seriously Nintendo, plastic screen in 2017?) in the dock or in a case, because I have an amFilm glass screen protector over the top.

Because of all the issues regarding the dock scratching the screen, this is a mandatory item for someone who owns a switch. It is very easy to install and comes with the proper cleaning supplies so that air bubbles don't get under the protector. It does not affect the docking at all and the dock does not scratch up the screen protector at all. It looks great installed on the switch and isn't really noticeable unless you look around the edges. The 2 pack is a bonus in case something happens, which I don't expect anything to. Very happy with this protector

Once it's on this is an excellent, well-made glass screen protector. It's not terribly easy to install though, which is partly the nature of screen protectors and partly the fact that the Switch's screen is slightly recessed, giving you very little wiggle room. I'm glad it's a 2-pack because the first one I put down had bubbles that I couldn't squeegee out; if I had to do it again I'd do the tape-hinge method (and it even includes bits of tape for this purpose if that's your preferred way).

I have three gripes about this product:
1. The adhesive between the alignment tabs and the glass should be stronger. You'll have to stick an edge down and lift it back up several times to make sure you're 100% lined up, and most of the time the plastic with these tabs on them began separating from the glass, rather than the glass separating from the screen.
2. The cleaning wipes and microfiber cloths are tiny. Like maybe 1.25" x 2". If you're a five year old maybe that's fine, but I found when I was wiping the screen the edges of my fingers that inevitably hung over the edge of the wipe would drag on the screen and I'd have to start over. I do not have large hands or fingers by any stretch of the imagination.
3. The squeegee you use to get the bubbles out is just a rigid piece of cardboard, and it starts bending the moment you use it. They should really include either a small rubber one like several cell-phone screen protector manufacturers do, or they should include a small piece of plastic. If I ever have to do this again I'll just be using one of my credit cards.

None of these would in any way prevent me from purchasing this product again. After the initial hassle of installation it's perfect.

A final note: I can't speak towards the bubbling-around-the-edge-after-being-docked issue because I haven't docked mine yet—I'm going to wait 24 hours and see if that makes the adhesive stronger. I'll update this if I notice any problems after that point.

EDIT: After a week or so of playing the Switch while it's docked I'm seeing no bubbling whatsoever around the edges of the glass. This continues to be a great product.

Holy smokes, that's so much better. So, on the Switch's launch day, I was able to get a Switch, but they only had those little plastic screen protectors in stock. I had heard about the scratching issue, so I got one as a temporary stopgap. I had so much trouble getting the plastic protector aligned, and it was full of so many bubbles, it came with nothing to clean the screen properly, it was a nightmare. Until about 15 minutes prior to writing this review, my Switch screen was covered in bubbles and had trapped particles. (I kept trying to re-align it and clean it and it got worse every time.)

So I ordered this protector. Got here today, I read the instructions quickly, and since it looked so similar to the plastic one, I expected it to give me trouble. I cleaned it with the wet wipe, then dried it with the dry wipe, and it was nice seeing my Switch clean again after two weeks. I figured "Here comes the hard part." and followed the instructions. Because of the extra tabs on the side and dual protective films ON the screen protector (the plastic one only had a protective film on the adhesive side) it was SUPER easy to put this on the Switch. And since the screen was actually REALLY clean this time around, even just setting the protector on the screen only left me with one or two bubbles, which thanks to the included push card (another thing the plastic one lacked) were pushed out in less than 5 seconds, leaving ZERO bubbles, not even tiny ones, no dust particles, nothing. You can only tell I even have a screen protector if you look for the edges of where it aligns with the sensors, it's that good.

And it came with TWO, no less! So I have another in case this one gets beat up! It also comes with a second set of cleaning wipes, which sounds small and obvious, but after the previous protector, I expected very little. It also comes with a little microfiber cleaning cloth. The packaging it comes in is super solid and the protectors are... well, they're well protected! Really impressive all around, and completely worth the money.

I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but I had to here. I'm always so bad at putting these things on my phone or other products, I can never align them right, I ALWAYS get dust or something under them, but this time it was really, really easy, and I appreciate that.

Oh, one more thing, it's also worth noting that because the glass is much more rigid and less flimsy than the plastic (on top of those tabs I mentioned earlier!) it was a thousand times easier to set the thing down on my screen. The plastic protector I had would flop around and the slightest breeze would make it flip over as I tried to place it, which was doubly hard because I was gripping the edges of the thing.

If you want to protect your Switch, this is absolutely the way to go.

Got my mine in couple weeks ago like all the products I ordered I give them a few weeks of use before posting my review and experience with a product to help other consumers like myself. I first received this couple weeks ago and it comes with two screen protectors unfornutately I used both of them and failed getting them on my switch without a freakin air bubble! Wrote to the seller and they suggested applying it on while the shower was running. It would have been nice if they just added at to their packaging In their instructions as a suggested technique. I think it would of saved them and me time. They responded swiftly and sent me another two screen protectors and i received in several days. The trick is have the shower running the steam makes the dust in the air settle down. Then follow and apply the screen protector. Haven't had an issue with the screen since and my switch screen is officially protected 9/10 would recommend to anyone! Thanks TechMatte!

First off, I don't often write reviews. I purchased this screen protector because most others had lousy reviews. I'm also a fan of tempered glass vs film. At any rate, this product, as well as the company selling it, is superb. First off the product. It fits perfectly. I've had other screen protectors on products where you line the protector on one edge and it creates a gap on the other. Not this. If you line it up to one edge, you get 100% coverage. I was REALLY impressed. It comes with the alcohol wipe, dry wipe cloth, microfiber cloth and a cardboard card to push air bubbles out.

On my first application, I had a piece of fuzz underneath which really bugged me. I pulled the film up and used a piece of scotch tape to remove the fuzz and the protector went back on without issue. Looked better the SECOND time I put it on. I was so surprised this worked despite reading other forum posts about trying this.

The company also emails you about your purchase and asks if there's anything they can do to assist. Nice personal touch.

The fit is a little snug in the dock, but no scratches or damage.

Get this item. If it's back-ordered (like it was when I purchased it), just wait it out.

This product worked perfectly for my Nintendo Switch. It's the perfect fit/size for the screen. I watched online videos of other people applying the screen protector before I did it myself. With that, I was ready to do it myself and was able to apply it on the very first try, no re-adjusting or air bubbles. Does not affect quality of touchscreen feedback. Touchscreen works perfectly with the screen protector in place. The description mentions that it repels oily residue from screen (oleo-phobic finish). I do notice some fingerprint marks on the screen but nothing that is distracting during game play. Simply wiping the screen with one of those eyeglass lens cloths will get rid of the marks. Have not seen any scratching on my unit. Three people play with the Nintendo Switch at home. Lots of docking and un-docking and our unit still looks like the day we took it out of the box, over a month ago.

I ordered these and had them in hand a week before my Switch actually arrived. As soon as I took it out of the box, the first thing I did was apply one of these screen protectors. I used the usual tricks; the hot shower, etc. Immediately after application I had three big air bubbles under the screen. One of them pressed out with a microfiber cloth wrapped over a credit card; the other two refused. Each was over the size of a quarter--big air bubbles. I figured that's why there were two, and I would replace it later.

Later turned into about four days later, when after playing my Switch docked and undocked quite a bit every day, I noticed one of the bubbles was completely gone. This was a pleasant surprise, but an even better one was when a few more days after that, the last air bubble disappeared as well. The screen is perfect now.

I did not let the adhesive settle or anything like that; I immediately set the Switch up and started playing it, first docked, and undocked a few hours later. I have not had any problem with the protector detaching or melting. It's been terrific, and the tempered glass feels great. The Switch screen is so delicate I would be afraid to handle it without this on. The protector fits really well, I'm not noticing gaps around the edge.

I still have my second one. But if I ever need to buy more, these will be my first choice.

Really great no problems with it. Completely happy. I recommend being really careful putting it on. Once its on its kind of hard to get off I have tried. The touchscreen works like there is no protector on it. Still fits in the dock perfectly. Just follow the directions or watch a YouTube video or get somebody else to put it on and you'll be fine. It comes with 2 packs of wet wipes and dry wipes, dust cloth, guide, a piece of cardboard to get rid of bubbles,6 stickers to help put it on and 2 tempered glass screen protectors. Just to note I didn't perfectly put mine on but it still is on enough to do the job.

After trying a matte screen protector from Skinomi as was unsatisfied (it made the screen look "foggy" and less defined) I decided to give this a try. The result is fantastic! The screen clarity is wonderful - the surface actually seems to improve the look of the Nintendo Switch as it looks very premium. It is a fairly thick protector, but it doesn't interfere with docking the system as I feared it might. During installation, it isn't the most forgiving if you need to reset it - I tried removing two large bubbles with a credit card with no luck, so I peeled back the corners to let the air out but it created a slight crease on the bottom side of the protector which remains visible and the top corners are not 100% adhered anymore. But I'm glad this box comes with a spare! The alcohol wet wipes and dry wipes are effective inclusions, too. Great product for keeping your Switch looking great and protected!
