This is the book I used to study my anatomy in 1972-73. Its chapter on Surface Anatomy must rate as the best I have read. All in all a very helpful and easy to read Anatomy Book with a little bit of humour to make the subject palatable.

I hate this book but it is a great way to teach history.

I bought this book to use as a teaching document. It's great to show how badly men behave when they have their power threatened as it was when Title IX required places that took federal funds (like medical schools) to allocate space for women and the quota for women in med schools went from 5 percent to 30 percent.

I purchased this text in the early seventies after seeing an article in Time Magazine. The use of beautiful nude women to illustrate surface anatomy got the feminist crowd all upset even though there were at least some nude men included also. I figured it would be an interesting book to own, and possibly a good investment. The writing is at times humorous and well done, plus it's a pleasure to see the beautiful women. After all, it does show the surface anatomy well, as the author states. The feminists lost out on this one and you have to wonder if they weren't just jealous!
