Don't worry about a noob question! Yeah that will fit. In the PC case it says ATX and Mid-Tower. This is the average size and any normal PSU will fit. Good luck on the build!

EVGA has options for Haswell certified PSU's look on EVGA.com or Tomshardware.com has a list of PSU's that are good luck

Your fans are usually going to connect to your motherboard, making it more important that you have enough ways to power them whether 3 or 4 pin adapters.
