I am running Windows 8 Pro. You can then download and install any Windows software that you would normally use on a Windows only PC. FYI: Microsoft Office for Mac will run on all new Macs, but that software will vary in the offered dialog boxes. It has a limited functionality when compared to Microsoft Office for a Window's PC. It is usable but why not just purchase MS for Windows when your mac can run that software with bootcamp. You can also purchase 3rd party software (Parallels or VM Fusion) that allows you to run Windows simultaneously with the Mac software open at the same time. Bootcamp allows you mac to run Windows from the start up disc, thus you can't run Mac software while the machine is in Windows mode. see less This MacBook Pro comes with a utility software called BootCamp. What "accounting software" and "word processor" are you going to use? You question is vague.
