Because i have a case on my macbook pro 16", can i put the adapter the opposite way so it won't because of the opposite plugs in?

i am not sure what you are asking, but you can plug it in on the other side of your computer if that is your question. I have ports on both sides of my computer so it works for me and my pro 13 Is that what you are asking? you cannot flip it upside down, that will not work. Good luck

I have 2020 macbook air that has top & bottom snap on covers. I had to remove the bottom cover to access the ports for the device. Hope this helps.

I tried but it dic not work bc if the case!! I had another big issue with the usb port , was getting so hot after couple minutes and it was weird.

Because the two USB seaport our position the same way you can put this thing in anyway you want and it’ll still work.
