TP-LINK doesn't specifically list Linux as being supported but there are reports that it works with Ubuntu using the ath9k. If your flavor of Linux has these drivers, you should be good to go.

This is totally wrong. Card is based on Broadcom BCM4360, not Atheros chip. Thus, you're receiving closed-source firmware even without AP support. So the driver in linux is wl.
After installing unit, I booted into Ubuntu 15.10 - the card was recognized before I logged in, with no additional configuration (date: 11/19/2015)

Works great on Fedora 25. I've seen speeds up to 300 Mbps over the wifi at work which is used by many people.
