None that I can see, but I do plan to get a protective filter on the advise of fellow photographers. I am a firm believer in the lens cap.

When I bought my camera it came with a large smudge on the lens. VERY noticeable when looking into the lens, but It doesn't seem to affect my photos in anyway. I don't know if it qualifies as a scratch, but I can't get rid of it so it's inside of the lens.
