I've never fixed a turkey but love deep fried turkey. Is this for outside only, with/without oils, can a birdbrain like me use it without the 911

It does not work very well outside. Oil needs to stay at a consistent temperature.

It was easy squeezy to use indoors with peanut oil. Instructions are very easy to follow. Turkey was delicious with injection marinade only. Next time we will try injection and a rub.

Just follow the instructions. You will be delighted with the result. A beautiful golden brown bird, juicy and tender. We have done several, and the result is always perfect. Also has easy clean up.

Just got ours a few weeks ago. It says we can use it inside so I hope we can. At least that's the plan. We have used propane outdoor fryers for years and decided to try this instead this year. I'll post results after Thanksgiving. :)
