Tracy,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi (32GB). At the time I purchased there was no 3G support. I am not aware of a WiFi+3G model. I read on the Google/news/technology that Samsung was going to upgrade its OS. If there is a model with 3G support it is a good idea to buy international version so you can use it overseas. I have 32GB because I wanted to make sure that I do not run out of memory when I keep installing new apps.
The reasons I bought it are the following:
- I have an iPhone 4s and I wanted to buy Android device not an iOS device again (not that I do not like Apple, I wanted a change). In the future I am planning to buy Android phone and iPad.
- I wanted a big screen so that I can read newspaper every day. I was planning some time to cancel my newspaper's home delivery. (I reduced it to only Sunday delivery now). And also I can take notes.
I am happy so far. However, its S- feature is less than satisfactory. It is very difficult to take hand written notes. I hope that in the future they improve it. Otherwise it is a good tablet.

I think an advantage would be the 3G network access. You could have network access anywhere there was 3G instead of just wifi.

You can also use the N8000 as a phone.
