I have Windows 7 and haven't seen anything on it. Given the great and recently great reviews, I'm assuming it works with W7, but just want to be sure

You'll be happy with it. I use it with (virtual) Windows 7 and Windows 8 running on a MAC. All USB drives work with either MAC or Windows. It's a great value, nice footprint and very well-made.

I have Win 7 and have been using this USB 2 extension to help with the extra external hard drives I have. No problems. I can't boot up with all the different Ext Hard Drs, so after I on I turn a power strip which includes this USD ext.

Works fine for me with Windows 7. I guess the best thing I could say about it is that it sits behind my computer and monitor and acts justs like I have a lot of extra USB ports on the computer and I don't even think about it being there.

It works on windows 7. I use it on this os version. But as its a USB hardware level device it would work on all operating systems as well. Linux, Mac, windows xp and others....
