While Youtube works, I would say that Youtube is the laggiest of all apps I have used on the unit. (and least impressed with the interface). TWC, PLEX, Netflix and Amazon all work great.

Only on the Roku 3 is there a You Tube channel available, and if you want to "cast" movies or videos from Android or iPhone/iPod/iPad devices, you can download the app's for those operating systems from their Apps store. We have "cast" You Tube videos, and TV shows from the Roku app downloaded on an iPad.
