Yes it is! And it doesn't get too hot to handle when you microwave it either ( not like my stoneware used to).

In November 2016 I purchased a dozen white Corelle coffee cups (not from Amazon but from Mills Fleet Farm). We soon discovered that these coffee cups caused arcing in the microwave. Our microwave was damaged by the arcing (a large burn mark in the cavity wall but fortunately no hole) and I also had to replace the magnetron as the antenna of the magnetron had a hole in it from the arcing. After replacing the magnetron, we went back to using our old Corelle coffee cups without any further problem. I own an appliance repair business and my opinion is that there are contaminants in the material that World Kitchen is now using in the manufacture of the Corelle dishware that caused the damage. I will not purchase Corelle or World Kitchen products in the future. see less As an owner of older Corelle dishware, I can attest that my 'old' dishware is microwave safe. Not so new Corelle. It is microwave safe, but one of my cup has broken the handle in 3 months after I received the product.
