If this is Lamb and Bison, why does Bison come in as 9th on the list of ingredients?

I do not know. But that company has a good website, and also list their contact info. i have contacted them re other questions in the past and they have replied. So I think you may need to contact them. Also - that is a darn good question!!

That I don't know, however we all have been told that the 1st 5 ingredients are the most important. My German shepherd/Mexican Grey wolf is picky about her food. She really likes that on. I add a tbsp to the morning bowl of MCT oil made by NOW & she loves it. It is tasteless and helps with weight control.

Ingredients are listed by their percent by volume. So there isn't much bison.

here is answer nbr 2: I just went to their website and looked up their list of ingredients, and bison is actually the 11th ingredient! That means that the piddly amount of bison in there is even less than the amount of FLAX SEEDS they add!
