Yes it is to me but you WILL need a good tripod . They where worth it.

I think so. More bang for the buck, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. The Bino's are heavy, so a nice tri-pod will come in handy for viewing celestrial objects.

Yes. These are nice binos as long as you have a sturdy tripod. You will be able to see the four big moons of Jupiter, and the rough shape of Saturns rings, as well as very nice images of our Moon.

The Celestron 20x80 have greater optical power (read - light gathering) than the Meade or Barska giving them a greater field of view.
