Works OK on mine once updated but the load times are horrendous. Several minute load times on most games that loaded instantly on my old Sandisk 64gb. I just downloaded Panzer Dragoon Remake today and it literally takes up to 4-minutes to load each 2-minute level. I don't know if I got a bum card or if there is a setting I need to tweek but in the mean time I'm going back to my 64gb card

The people saying the adapter does not work with the switch... You DO NOT USE the adapter for the switch. I can just see people trying to fit the adapter into the game cartridge slot....I mean you are testing patience itself here folks.....I love my fellow humans...I love my fellow humans...I love my fellow humans...o… see more The people saying the adapter does not work with the switch... SD card uses the adapter by putting the MICRO SD CARD in it...Most things like tablets, Nintendo Switch, Phones , use a MICRO SD CARD...not a SD card. okay? So if you bought this for a tablet or phone or Switch or 3ds or Nvidia Shield or PSVita or most anything, you will not be using the adapter ok?! Several of the answers just killed me...hurt me.. I believe the MICRO SD SLOT is located behind the "arm" you use to prop the switch up. I just got one and have yet to get a SD card, but without having my glasses because they broke, it seems the only place for it to go. The instructions should tell you this, Google , Yahoo search, ask Jeeves or your neighbor's child of age 6 or older can probably help you. Try using Yahoo's search (google can bite me, and frankly we should all use other search engines just like we should all avoid Wal Mart and Amazon as much as possible by driving to an actual smaller store and paying a buck or 2 extra----Americans may start dying en masse of sedentary lifestyle buried under crappy Chinese goods) to ask " where does the micro sd card go in nintendo switch?" see less The people saying the adapter does not work with the switch... Yes it will work with the Switch. You just need to update your system to work with XC (Extended Capacity) Cards, which it will do on it’s own once the card is installed. Remember to turn your console off while switching SD cards

It does work on Switch without the adapter. I dislike that the card has Write Protect on. You'll need a PC and the adapter with write protect off to copy prior SD card data to it.

Only thing I want to add to this is that the on board storage is faster when it comes to games loading than the MicroSD storage that you can use for your Switch (so I'd recommend installing on board whenever you can, but I know this won't be a long term option). But yeah, other than having to update your system when you insert the MicroSD card, all of the thus far released Micro SD Cards will work without any issues on the Switch. Nintendo has also stated they will support up to the (currently) planned 2TB SD Micro XC cards once they're available, so that won't be an issue down the road.

Of curse, Nintendo Switch can take up to 2 TB when they exist. You need to update your console witch de micro sd inside first, then you can transfer your games to the new reconigzed micro sd.

Yes, it works. But be aware that the 400GB model formats down to 366GB.
