From my Tab, I can install all the apps you asked about---
The Yahoo Messenger app is a "Top Developer" app with a good rating among users. I'm a Google+ person myself, but I have no doubts about Yahoo's app also being a really good one.
I frequently use the Skype app on my Samsung Tab. As long as there are good wi-fi connections on each end of the video conversation, video and audio quality are good. The Skype app also lets you switch back and forth from the user camera to the video camera. That way you can show the people on the other end something interesting in front of you and then switch back to a face-to-face conversation. Because the app simultaneously uses real-time video, audio, wi-fi and other processing resources, the Galaxy Tab gets warm (not hot, though) on a long Skype call, but friends tell me all their tablet devices do that as well.
Yes, Facebook app is available. If the Facebook app is available on the BlackBerry Playbook Tablet, then it's a safe bet that it is available on major name-brand tablets like Samsung Galaxy Tabs.
And yes. OOVOO is there, too. Consider trying another similar app called Viber. The audio quality on Viber is fantastic!
If you wind up getting a Galaxy Tab as shown above, Poetic / MoKo makes a great cover for it which lets it stand up on it's own. <iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?lt1=_blank&bc1=000000&IS2=1&bg1=FFFFFF&fc1=000000&lc1=0000FF&t=march08-20&o=1&p=8&l=as4&m=amazon&f=ifr&ref=ss_til&asins=B00671L9A6" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>
And slap a 32GB micro card in there so you have plenty of memory for pictures, videos and music! That's the best upgrade for this device, and a lot cheaper than buying other brands of tablets which cost a premium price for 32GB of non-removable built-in memory. <iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?lt1=_blank&bc1=000000&IS2=1&bg1=FFFFFF&fc1=000000&lc1=0000FF&t=march08-20&o=1&p=8&l=as4&m=amazon&f=ifr&ref=ss_til&asins=B007KFXIDE" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Have fun with your Tab, Bill!

You can run Skype but you can't share screens with it. Other than that it runs great.
