No, and you do want two antivirus and or security programs on your PC, because this can cause problems like; slowing your Pc down, or one program reading the other one as a Fake scan or virus. I prefer Norton myself, it has more features like a PC clean up and Identity protection. Additionally there are helpful web browser extensions like; adblock plus, that helps block annoying and often harmful ads on websites.
I believe, like George L Fort said, it needs to be deleted and Norton will actually uninstall it during the Norton install. My experience over many years is that you do not want 2 or more antivirus/security programs running on the same pc. This will possibly lead to the slowing down of the PC with these 2 (or more) programs running together. If necessary you could use products like malwarebytes or spybot but only as something to manually scan for infestations...as a backup to your main program...not have them running in the background with your main security software.
