Does not have a beveled edge as it doesn't need to have a beveled edge. Why?/ The spatula part is very thin while the handle is heavy gauge stainless steel. All one piece. Works great for me to flip an omelet, tortillas, pancakes etc. The spatula section is thin & very supple. So it will not support anything heavy. It bends easily being almost wafer thin. So I use this together with another heavier gauge spatula to flip a heavy 3 egg omelet supported at 2 points along the 10 inch length. Tortillas, pancakes it can handle on its own. Hope this helps?
