What is hourly gasoline consumption at 2,000 watts?

well the tank holds 3.8 gallons and at half load which would be 1750 watts and it's suppose to run 12 hours. so lets say 4 gallons of gas at 2000 watts would last 12 hours your looking at a consumpyion rate of ,33333333 gallons of gas per hour. give or take alittle.

I've not had the opportunity to test it at exactly half load before, but it's rated to run at half load for 12 hours on a single tank of gas. Given that the tank is 3.8 gallons, that would equate to approximately 1/3 a gallon per hour gas consumption.

I have found that at 50%, it takes about 10-12 hours to go through a full tank.

I was wondering that myself. So I put 1/2 gallon in the generator and started it. It was still running after 2 hours. That's when I turned it off. At 3.8 gallons, that calculates out to be over 15 hours on a full tank. I did not have a load on it but 2000 watts is not much and should be pretty close to these results.
