Acer says it is a Celeron, but the technical details here says Intel Core i7 3770?

That's a good question. I got nearly the same model (AO256-2420 - no differences according to Acer's website) and as you say, Acer says it has the Celeron 877 (http://us.acer.com/ac/pdf/en/US/model/NU.SGYAA.006).
