An indefinite number. I have a 16 gig card. I suggest you get a big card. Worth the money. I love this camera!!

Nearly 100 pics in normal settings ,with a fully charged battery. And with a 16GB you can take 4000 pics.

This depends entirely on how large a file size you choose on the camera settings for each picture, and on the size of your memory card, and keeping your camera charged. It takes a ton of pictures and you can always buy another memory card as a back up.

It depends on your camera settings and which SD card you are using.. 4GB, 8GB etc,... I guess with 8GB card, at 16MP setting, you can at least take 1500 - 1700 pics.. in one go with full battery charged, at least 200 pictures...

How deep is the ocean, with a 8gb card I took over 2500 pictures over two weeks and still have plenty of room.

As many as your memory card can hold. Have another memory card with you to swap out if you ever fill up. Fellow photographers have given good advice here.

It all depends on the resolution you are shooting at and the size of your memory card. The higher the resolution of the photo takes up more memory on the memory card.
