Thanks for all the input regarding my question about wi-fi drops on Samsung Chromebook. Trying it out, and it's good so far. :)

No, I have an area where I wanted to put it that is too far from my wireless router so I need an extender, but wasn't able to install what I got because it doesn't have a CD/dvd player. There is nothing wrong with the Chromebook! It is great - It is just my spot:-)
