I know your question is a bit old, but to add on to this, I've just recently had to warranty Sennheiser products purchased through Amazon directly, and they've had no issues repairing/replacing the headphones.

Yes. You must check if the seller is the Sennheiser brand. To be honest, I don't know how to contact the warranty but since it arrived functionally perfect and with all the content inside the box, I think I won't have any problem if I need it someday.
