Just bought the DMP-BD87 blue ray player and now it looks like I cannot stream from AMAZON ???? REBSFB@AOL.COM

The 87 doesn't have amazon support. You'd have to get the 220, or above for amazon support.

You can do Netflix and YouTube, but NOT Amazon Prime, unfortunately. I was disappointed, too, hoping there would be an Amazon Widget for that. Not yet : (

I have only 2 words for you....Return it. This blu ray player is a piece of garbage. It did the same thing to me. Mine never even connected to the internet. So after trying for 2 hours I gave up and just returned it. I should've read the reviews before buying it. They would have warned me to stay away.

My suggestion is to return it. It did the same thing to me. So I returned it and bought a Sony blu ray, much much better. Returning with Amazon is easy.

Have you tried plugging a flash drive into the player? I was unable to stream BD-Live content until I did this - the flash drive provides a storage place for the data.
