Yes, it works with Linux, KDE 4 and BlueZ. However, the device was not recognized by my Slackware 14.2 Linux. I had to edit the driver source file to add the device ID. I edited the file /usr/src/linux/drivers/bluetooth/btusb.c After these two lines /* Broadcom BCM20702A0 */ { USB_DEVICE(0x413c, 0x8197) }, I added this line for the device ID of the Pluggable USB adapter. { USB_DEVICE(0x0a5c, 0x21e8) }, The change might not be required for newer Linux kernels. Use this patch at your own risk!
Success in Debian 9, just needed to install blueman, tested with both keyboard and A2DP using the SBC codec (linux doesn't support a2dp with mp3 or aptx at this time, 2018/01).

This works fine with Ubuntu 18.04 w/Blueman-Manager 2.0.5 and Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. I use the headphones with two different Ubuntu computers and primarily Netflix, so I have TWO of these BT adapters, and zero problems with them. Yes, there is some sound lag, but it's rarely that noticeable to me.
