A friend of mine recieved the 42" panasonic plasma for Christmas, plugged it in, and the thing does nothing. It immediately clicks off to standby mode. It immediately clicks off to standby mode. Well she called their support and talked to someone right away. As soon as she explained what happened, the gentlemen seemed to know exactly what was wrong and claimed that she has a defective TV. So I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and how often this happens. Should she bother getting the same TV when she returns it? Something different?
