Angel, I bought said camera as a Christmas present for my daughter. It appeared to have never been used and all the manuals were with it. My daughter uses the camera for work (theatical art) and recreation. She is very happy with it.

It's a few years old, but it's a fantastic starter camera. I've grown out of it a bit now that my photography skills have increased, but it's still a great camera. The built-in zoom results in photos with a low resolution, so if you do much distance shooting you will want a zoom lens. The camera also dislikes low light conditions and sometimes refuses to shoot in them. Like I said, though, great starter camera...but you might want to spring for the t3. see less It's a few years old, but it's a fantastic starter camera. About three years. No trouble but if you want reliability, I would suggest spending more and getting a higher rated Canon. It's mostly plastic compared to the better models.

The model is a few years old. It's a great quality camera, but the t3 costs a little more and it is 14 mega pixels and does video where the xs does not do video and is only 10 mega pixels. Still a great camera though

Not sure how old it is, but it is in good condition. My daughters use it constantly and have not had any problems at all. We are very pleased with it.

This camera launched in late 2008. The only issue I've seen with this camera is that there is a little bit of lag when using the flash. Other than that this a great starter SLR
