The 1 user means the owner of the PC(s). This doesn't mean the your children or other people in your household cannot utilize the software. For example my children utilize it for school work and child 1 maybe using the software one night to write a paper and then child 2 will utilize it later in the week to design a spreadsheet for a science project. 1 user means 1 computer... As long as MS Office is downloaded on the computer, any user on that PC is able to use it.
