Yes! It's a great two player game! There are only two of us in the house, so I always try to find good two player games, and this one is perfect. It is different every time, so the re-playability factor is very good. Also, with two players, the game moves quite quickly and stays interesting. I would highly recommend it!

The box says 8 and up, and I completely agree. The average eight year old who enjoys challenging games would be perfectly capable of doing well playing this game. But don't let that fool you -- my husband and I have played countless times with intelligent adults who absolutely love the game, too! It can be a challen…

It can be a challenge, depending on how deep your 'strategizing' goes.

Our kids (4 1/2yr old twins) play along with an adult and enjoy putting the trains on the board. And sorting the train cards by color. But they are too young to play by themselves. But it is a great game tho!

They are very small. Shorter than a business card but wider.Your only looking for colors so its not a big deal. Great game!

That's one of my few suggestions for this cool game. If the cars were slightly magnetic (and the spaces on the board of course) or had some pegs or something it would be nice. And the original cards are too small to shuffle easily, so if you want to shuffle good (and you will) it will take a few more minutes. But the…

That's one of my few suggestions for this cool game. If the cars were slightly magnetic (and the spaces on the board of course) or had some pegs or something it would be nice. And the original cards are too small to shuffle easily, so if you want to shuffle good (and you will) it will take a few more minutes. But the 1910 expansion pack (bigger cards) remedies this. Some say the rules aren't as easy as advertised - I kind of agree. The thing to remember is that you can do 1 (only 1) of 3 things during your turn. You have to get the rule straight on how many cards you can pick during your turn (if that is your "1" play), and to get the scoring straight. But once you get them straight its a lot of fun.

I use the game for kids aged 6 to 10. For the 6 year olds I simplify the rules a bit. The 10 year olds can handle the full game. I would say you can use it for almost any age range, provided you are flexible with the rules.

We played with the small cards for a long time and they were fine but then we bought the 1910 expansion set and that was totally worth it! So buy the game plus the expansion set and you will never have to play with the small cards. The expansion set has more routes and the cards are really nice. I'm planning on getting…

I'm planning on getting the European game next and will buy the 1912 expansion set at the same time .
