I contacts Rosetta and no way would they be reasonable and let us download it on our individual computers. So only 2 people could use it at a time, I did try it on my daughters computer, but you cannot access the online programs as she is the registered user on that computer- I am told also that using the online program cost more after 3 months- so using it was not that good. Instead, I found Duolingo it is free and apparently more successful than Rosetta Stone is- there is some plateau- ing but no more than RS. Save your money go to http://www.duolingo.com- I think you'll be just as happy and apply the high cost of Rosetta Stone to your next trip see less Hi Just saw your question. That is all you can do. Argentinians use a very different Spanish than say Mexico, but all the Spanish speaking people seem to no problems understanding each other. Spain is much more formal and the other Latin countries. Every single Spanish speaking country will have it's own unique words, but the basics in both are the same. Again, no matter what Spanish program you get, I'm sure you will be able to communicate with all "dialects." More people by FAR speak Latin Spanish. see less Just like we have different words from East coast to West coast in U.S. as well as in Texas, different countries using the same basic language use different words to express the same thing. Answer:
The software that came with the box sucks. I used it on Windows 8.1. The online tutorial works fine on my cell phone using Android. Try Duolingo. It's free & just as good, maybe better.
