Yes, Lego and Duplo blocks will both interlock with this base plate. Although you may get a stronger lock with the Duplo specific baseplates since the dimples are taller.

I haven't tried it with Super Heroes, but Legos are all formatted the same structurally on the bottom, so I imagine it would. 

As long as you firmly secure the base plate I dont see why not. Its going to be a challenge to do so because its not as sturdy as it looks but I believe it would work. Thanks

I haven't tried it, or researched it, but I had the same idea as you. I would think that any glue that is suitable for plastics and wood would work. To be on the safe side, I would try it on a single small Lego block first to make sure the glue didn't dissolve the plastic. Another idea, which I'm pretty sure would work and won't harm the plastic would be to use silicone sealant that comes in a chaulking tube. You'll probably want to do this in the garage or outside as the silicone sealant gives off an acetic acid type smell (vinegar) until it sets up. Using the silicone would allow you to remove the plate later if you wished, but it won't be easy as the silicone forms a very tough but elastic bond between surfaces. see less
