It's just a matter of the grease breaking down and leaking out. Take it apart, clean out all the old grease, and replace it. I've done it quite a few times.

YES! My girlfriend is passionate about baking and that attachment will work. There's 3 (current) models and that will work on all 3 and even the model you showed me.

Yes it does. You may have to adjust the bowl clearance (per pg 14 of the instruction giude) Mine came with the flex bowl mixer piece but I bought directly from KA's website. Also got a free icecream machine attachment!

Mechanically, nothing. Appearance is the difference. With the white mixer you can see the labels, the lock knob, and the speed knob all are black. Whereas with the white on white, those things are all white.
