Yes it works until unless ur mattress is of standard size by height. My mattress is little bit high than the usual mattress . But it does work and its a beautiful crib. Go for it I am using for my month old son.

I think a regular crib mattress fits well. I'm using the Colgate Classica III Dual Firmness Foam Crib Mattress and it fits well. hope this helps.

Looks like it would be 8, 11, 14 & 17" from the floor and then your mattress on top. At the highest setting with the 5" mattress it is 22" off the floor. Not sure what you mean by a "cosleeper"

Front: 34" /back 41.5"... the bed base has 4 levels starting at 10.5" and each height is 3" more (10.5 then 13.5" and so on). Hope it helps...
